Our VFX Workflow
1. Brief & Visual Breakdown: We begin by understanding your vision, timeline, and budget. A visual effects breakdown is prepared to outline what will be practical vs. digitally created.
2. Storyboarding + Previz: We create visual previews (previz) of complex scenes, camera angles, and VFX shots. This saves cost and ensures clarity on set.
3. Plate Shooting:We provide VFX supervision during shoot to capture clean plates, lighting references, tracking markers, and green screen elements.
4. Matchmoving + Tracking: We digitally recreate the camera movement and environment in 3D to match the live-action footage.
5. CG Integration:Our 3D artists and compositors bring in the CGI elements (explosions, objects, particles, creatures) and blend them seamlessly.
6. Simulation + Effects: Simulations for fire, water, smoke, cloth, hair, and destruction are performed using Houdini and other tools.
7. Compositing:Lighting, shadow, color, lens distortion, motion blur, and grain are all matched using Nuke or After Effects.
8. Final Review + Export: All shots go through multiple review cycles and client previews before final delivery in 4K or custom formats.
